IOR Tutorial is an e-learning
software package we developed for McGraw-Hill. It
well demonstrates all of the three aspects of our
software services, and our long-term customer support.
The original tutorial software was written in Pascal
about ten years ago. It doesn't work well on modern
computer platforms. We keep the visual representation
methodologies of the old software, but redesigned
and developed the interactive GUI interfaces using
our e-learning toolkit, Prof. E, and the client/server
mechanism within the software. The
software was developed in Java. The source code
at the final delivery is 55,000 lines. The workload
is ten man-months. We delivered the project on
time and on budget, with high quality. The QA
of McGraw-Hill passed the software on their first
test. We received the most favorable recommendations
from the client. We are now providing long-term
support to the software.
The software can be downloaded
from McGraw-Hill's web site at:http://www.mhhe.com/engcs/industrial/hillier/iortutorial/install/iordownload.html
